EC1 New Deal for Communities, Islington Council and Homes for Islington are working in partnership to improve the Percival/Triangle area.
Design team East have been commissioned to look at the gardens, streets, car parks, play areas and footpaths and develop a plan to make things better. The plan will focus on making the Percival/Triangle area's outdoor spaces safer, greener, cleaner and easier to use.
Residents will be involved in developing the plan for the Percival/Triangle area.
First, East will be holding two 'Getting to Know You' days where they will be talking to as many residents as possible to understand the likes, dislikes, thoughts and concerns about the area.
On 12 January 2008 East held a 'Let's Talk' drop in session at the Finsbury Library. Here residents were invited to look at and comment on initial ideas for the area.
On 08 March 2008, East will be held a 'What do you Think?' drop in session. They presented more developed proposals to improve the area and invited residents to comment on these ideas.
The proposal will identify what improvements can and should take place now and which ones will happen in the future. Having an overall proposal will ensure that all improvements will work toward a common goal for the area and will help to secure more funding to make more things happen.

On Saturday, 08 March East presented proposals for the Percival Triangle area at a drop in session in the entrance to Crayle House. The improvement proposals presented were a development of the six key objectives for the area based on residents' comments and ideas expressed at previous consultation events.
